Day 2: Creative consortium goes TAIWAN

Day 2
Woke up early in the morning about 6am to visit Fu-Hsin trade and arts school. (It takes about 1 hour to travel there) It's an arts school located in an alley. Yes. An alley... very weird huh...
We were like celebrities for that moment man... Red 'carpet', school's staff taking photos of us, students staring... HAHAHAHAHAHA
(I suppose this is their lecture theatre...)

After LOOOOONG introductions and stuff, we went to sit for our portrait! (First time!)
And... This is me ._. drawn by the TALENTED GUY...
After doing all those goodbye stuff, we went to another part of the school. The silk printing room. (Am I correct? I forgot what it is called... To me, it's manual printing coz you have to design what picture you want on a sheet of _____. After that, pour some liquid x and some other steps.) It is located in a short alley in one part of the school. Alley... After settling down, the instructor began introducing to us himself and what the printing is about.
My turn! Basically, you just pour some glue-like thing onto the silk and use the flat thing. With little force and an angle about 60 degrees, slide the flat thing towards you.
And there you go.
So that's the end of our trip to Fu-Hsin trade and arts school. Next stop we head to The National Palace Museum.
There were A LOT of visitors so we didn't get to finish exploring the whole museum... HAIZ...

Most of the artefacts were imported from China. Photos were not allowed to be taken in the Museum exhibition... This is one of the pieces I find the most interesting. There were balls in a ball! The tour guide said that this was actually just an ivory ball. The person craft from the outside to the inside. It was not crafted separately. Look at those details. Meticulously crafted. BEAUTIFUL. It was also said that there were other balls but it was not in this museum. (The image below IS NOT taken by me. I GOOGLE)
Another thing I found interesting is that, the tour guide told us that in the olden days, people of China actually thought that the horns of Rhinoceros were unicorn's horns... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
After visiting the museum, we went to................... SHILIN NIGHT MARKET.

Actually, there's A LOT of things to shop... but shopping is not me... I went there to try out their local food and went window shopping... (For your info, I don't really like shopping coz very troublesome. I can use half an hour to decide between 2 things...)
TADAAAA! Finally after 1 hour of walking, I found their XXL fried chicken (Hao Da Da Ji Pai). Actually, the it was normal loh... Not really what I expected... The sour powder was concentrated in an area making only one part sour-_-...
I was actually trying to search for this
But there was none... Is this even a brand? Or what... The whole wide ShiLin market, you can only find this...
I'm clueless man...
After hours, night begins to fall and this is when Shi Lin is officially being called 'Shi Lin NIGHT MARKET'. It's just a normal wet market in the morning but when sky becomes dark, IT IS CALLED the 'SHI LIN NIGHT MARKET'. (Dramatic tone)  HAHAHAHAHA

That's all... Day 2, end. Goodnight!

Day 1: Creative consortium goes TAIWAN

Oops... Forgot to blog about my trip to Taiwan... The trip is already over but I will still blog about the whole trip... I'll try to remember what happened by photos I've taken... Oh! You might wonder why 'Creative consortium' goes Taiwan. Creative consortium is a group made up of Art, D&T and F&N in our school. (I'm a D&T student)
So.. Let's begin!

Day 1
By the time we reach there, it's already evening about 7... The first thing we did there is EAT! It's dinner time!
This is something like Udon, but has Soba sauce... The noodle was not really well cooked
Fish! Not my favourite... but I still had some. Quite nice
There were 6 dishes that night but I forgot to take photos of the rest (Busy eating)
After dinner, we went to Taipei 101. It has a height of 509m and can withstand natural disasters such as strong winds and earthquake. Isn't it cool?!?!
Night view of the skyscraper
In the elevator...
This elevator took about 36 SECONDS to travel to LEVEL 88 and about 40 SECONDS to reach the FIRST FLOOR. COOL.
The ticket
TADAAAA!!! Here we are!!! 89th FLOOR!!! Breathtaking view
The wind was VERY STRONG and COLD

That's all for Day 1.
Win liao loh... You call this DAY 1... Not even 5 hours and DAY 1 ended. WTH?!?!

STAEDTLER triplus® roller

Went to get colour pens just now at Popular bookstore. There were just too many pens and I could not decide which to invest my money on... So I went to Google and read the reviews...
There were not many reviews... So, for people like me, I decided to blog about pen today!:) STAEDTLER triplus® roller.
There's 10 in 1 pack

It actually looks bigger than the rest.

1. STAEDTLER's triplus® roller
2. PILOT's G2 (0.5mm)
3. PILOT's G-TEC-C (0.4mm)
4. uniball SIGNO DX (0.38mm)
Is it because it's water-based ink so it looks thicker? Anyway, hope this review helps you when you are deciding:)

Nobody is perfect

When I play the practice my piano pieces, there will always be someone complaining that I'm making noise or I'm not good enough... I'm practicing what... Nobody is perfect from the beginning (unless you're a genius). If you do not like what you hear then go listen to your music lah... If you in the first place think that it's noisy, why did you let me take piano lessons. If you want perfect pieces, then go listen to your iPod or something. It's like you expect to see a baby walk once he's out. WTH.

You think everything comes so easily? You think those musicians who produced their works came out so perfect just by 1 try?(Perhaps for Mozart) You think music is so easy to learn? Then you come and play a perfect piece for me lah!

Random post :D

It's been a long time since I updated my blog... So I'm just gonna talk about IF I ever have a male partner. It's just a freaking IF. Many of my friends and family say that my expectations for a male partner is toooooooo HIGH...... Is there any problem with high expectations? Hello, a partner will be going through big and small with you for a lifetime. Of course you must have high expectations... K. Let's start :)

1. Height
The height must be at least 180cm. I don't care whether I'm short or what... (I'm 165cm) A tall guy is good! You can like run into him (like a bull...HAHAHAHA) and hug him... That's warm

2. Knowledgable
His brain must be cleverer than me...(Although I'm a bit... Slow...?) and have at least a university scholarship.

3. Personality
Warm, Kind, Caring, Witty, Logical, No quarrel, Humorous, Gentlemen, Loyal
The guy MUST NOT over-care. Over-caring is really annoying.
And no being emotional... What if just a little thing, he gets angry or annoyed or sad, it will really piss me off. Dude! It's life... If you are so emotional about everything, then your life really sucks. (No offence.)
I really hate quarrels. My parents sometimes quarrel and I hate it. They mostly quarrel over monetary stuff, which I think some can be "solved" easily... What's the point of quarrelling? If the opposite do not respect each's view, or nobody care about amending the mistakes. The quarrel is never going to end. Plus, I hate loud noise / sound. I get really frustrated just by loudness.

4. Sense of style
Guy should have a sense of style... You don't just wear an oversized suit.... It must be fitting. Or maybe a oversized shirt with a jeans. WTH.....

5. Body shape
Have a built body shape:) 'Correct' size of muscle... Not bulky or flabby... Just fit:) like rectangle like that...HAHAHAHAHA just kidding...

Oh ya! And deep features... Like eyes are eyes and nose is nose... :P not like short nose bridge, then eyes wise apart, then jawline not obvious
Summary... A man like Tom Hiddleston... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! OMG!!!!
Anyway, it's impossible... Where got such a perfect man?!?! You tell me lah! (Sorry for the imperfect English)
If my expectations is too high and cannot be met, I rather have a dog. A ROUGH COLLIE!!!! (Photo from Google)

Random post...

I just feel very uncomfortable if my words are not out.
It was Wednesday after school... I had choir practice... And I was asked to play the piano since those 'pro' pianists were not here. So I was playing for my section (Altos) and suddenly our choir conductor came in so I started to panic. (If I panic, it's either I will be stun for a while or do the wrong things) I accidentally played the wrong note. The whole room was dead silent until the conductor said
"This is rubbish. Who are you?"
"Jerlyn"
"Stand up, I want to see who you are. What grade are you at? Grade 1? 2?" (in a hush manner)
"Grade 5"
In my mind I was like WTF?!?! Am I that lousy? You have only heard my playing once and there you go determining my piano skills? Come on! It's just one f!"£$%^ note! I'm just a hidden pianist in the choir who only plays when I'm really needed!"
From that day onward I feel really dull when playing the piano. Not motivated anymore... Stupid right? Dull because of someone's words. I don't usually care about what people say. But this really affects me. I don't know why

We went to this place for Elephant riding and Rafting!
Me sitting at the front of the elephant!!! (Where the rider seats) OMG. Quite scary... The elephant moved in big steps so the whole body kinda move...
Next, after the ride, we went RAFTING!!! First rafting experience!!! FUN!!!!
I didn't really raft lah... I just seat there, enjoy scenery and the waves. HAHAHAHA!!! Just used the paddle to splash people in the other raft
Only the staff rafted... HAHAHAHA
It's evening! We were having dinner along the beach. VERY nice view^^
Isn't it nice?!?! Of course lah... Jerlyn take one mah... HAHAHAHAHA!!! Pro?!?! No lah.., just kidding...

Day 3 at Phuket! Our lunch! (Breakfast was buffet. Everyday breakfast was buffet)
We did order rice.
So below is the last photo I took in Phuket. It was the Spa side... We were going to the shower room since our room has to be "given back" (forgot that word) in the morning.

Oh ya, tell me how you feel about the photos! :D I'm very proud of my photos... HAHAHAHA!!! Only the ones I took lah.
